FERNDALE, CA. (KIEM) – The Humboldt County community loses a local icon.
Curley Tait was known for his contributions, such as local business – many sharing memories of Curley’s Grill in Ferndale.
He was also a band manager, and known helping Ferndale’s own Guy Fieri, in building his career.
Earlier this week, at 85-years-old, Curley died of natural causes, with friends across Humboldt remembering him fondly, and saying he was “well loved”.
”He was a man of incredible charm. Always upbeat, always friendly. I’m sure everybody will remember his smile, because that’s what he did – he made people smile,” said his friend, Gregg Foster.
