Ferndale, Ca., (KIEM)- It’s a tradition in “The Cream City.” Locals bring their lawn chairs and families to the streets of their Victorian village to watch the annual Memorial Day Parade go by. At the conclusion of the march down Main Street, a community memorial service is held at the cemetery. A somber opportunity to honor lost loved ones, and veterans who paid the ultimate price for their country.
