Updates on fatal logging incident in Rio Dell

Rio Dell., Ca (KIEM)- 68-year-old Philip Lee Johnson of Rio Dell was bucking redwood logs on his property, yesterday, when a log came loose and fell on top of him. The Humboldt county Coroner’s office was called to Johnson’s property on Redwood Avenue at 5:30 in the evening. It was there when deputy’s declared Johnson deceased on the scene.
