Today College of the Redwoods hosted the 32nd annual Redwood Environmental Education Fair.

The goal? To teach Humboldt County elementary students how to protect and preserve the environment. It’s not often, that students get to play with reptiles and birds during school hours, but for 79 lucky classrooms, students were able to accomplish just that.

Major sponsors from today’s event include, Suddenlink Communications, College of the Redwoods, and Humboldt County Office of Education.
