Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office arrests suspect in 2014 murder

DEL NORTE COUNTY, CA. (KIEM) – Over four years later, an unsolved murder case has a new lead.

In April of 2014, Yurok Tribal Police found human remains in Klamath near Highway 169.

They were identified as that of then-missing Romeo “Bo” Glaze of Del Norte County, in what was ruled to be a homicide.

On Wednesday, the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Michael Clarence Loftin of Del Norte on first degree murder charges for Glaze’s death.

Loftin was booked into the Del Norte County Jail without bail, where he awaits his first court appearance.
