Humboldt County Educator Begins His Race Across America

Eureka, Ca., (KIEM)- Team “Red Dragon” has left Eureka, embarking on the first leg of the Race Across America. Beginning Tuesday, Humboldt County educator Michael Davies-Hughes will start a 3,000 mile odyssey from Oceanside, California to Annapolis, Maryland. All along the way he’s raising money and awareness for the Humboldt County Office of Education’s Decade of Difference Early Literacy Initiative.
