Eureka Police Department Holds Promotion Ceremony

 EUREKA – There are some personnel changes coming to the Eureka Police Department with promotions and new hires. The department held a ceremony Monday afternoon at the Sequoia Conference Center.

Police Chief Steve Watson led the ceremony recognizing and pinning new Police Officers, Cadets, and a Community Services Officer.  There were also several officers promoted to positions such as Senior Dispatcher, Records Technician and Senior Detective. Patrick O’neal was promoted to Captain along with Greg Hill and Cory Crnich, who are now Sergeants.
