Humboldt County Elections Office Are Still Counting Votes

A week has gone by since the Primary Election and there is still no winner in the Humboldt County Supervisor Fifth District Race.

Steve Madrone leads current supervisor Ryan Sundberg by 33 votes. The Humboldt County elections office told Redwood News that 22-hundred votes are still left to be counted. 315 of those ballots are mail-in, or were delivered in person to the elections office. They hope to know the winner by the end of next week.
