Each emergency agency has their own specialty, and tonight they worked together during a simulated plane crash disaster drill at the Arcata-Eureka Airport. They treated it as if it were a real life scenario, a passenger jet confirmed down.

Blue Lake, Arcata Fire, Fieldbrook, and crew of Humboldt Bay Fire treated “passengers” whom succumbed to injuries from the crash.

Naturally, mass causalities add that extra challenge to the various agencies.
