EUREKA, CA. (KIEM) – Eureka’s Summer Concert Series is celebrating 21 years of fun.

Folks were moving and grooving to the music this evening for the kick-off of the annual event on the Eureka waterfront.

For over two decades it’s been a collaboration led by Eureka Main treet, and the City of Eureka.

Between the arts and the bay – it’s a chance to remember just how lucky we are to live on the North Coast.

“It’s a unique situation. Not everyone has a bay to their front, and historic Victorians to their back,” said Eureka Main Street Executive Director, Charlotte McDonald, “So come join us. We’re very proud of what we started 21 years ago!”

“We’re looking to have another 21 years with no problem,” said Victoria Bennington, General Manager of Bicoastal Media, “It’s an incredible event, and we hope everyone comes down. It’s every thursday at 6 – a free concert, for everyone.”

The free concert series continues every Thursday at 6PM for ten weeks in the Madaket Plaza.
