One man killed in Garberville ATV crash

Garberville, Ca., (KIEM)- One man is dead after an ATV accident overnight.

The crash would happen on a private drive east of Spyrock Road just before 6:00 p.m. Friday night. There were two people in the Arctic Cat ATV driven by Jeffery Polson. As the Arctic Cat traveled up a steep rocky embankment, the vehicle rolled over. Both passengers were able to jump out, escaping with no injuries. Polson was pronounced dead at the scene by responding Laytonville Fire Crews. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
