EUREKA – As the wildfires rage across the state, there are fires burning near Redding and in Lake County. For safety reasons when a wildfire is near a road or highway it gets shut down. And there is a quick way to see if a route is shut down and to find a detour to your destination through quick maps. We spoke with Caltrans about their app and how it’s useful for travelers.
