California Arts Council grants $16,000 to local art program

Eureka., Ca- A Eureka community center for artist, aims to give young adults a digital canvas… The California Arts Council awarded $16,200 to the ink people’s MARZ project. For over 20 years, the MARZ project has been a hub for youth creativity and hands on learning.

Through their programs, young adults ages 13-through-22 have the ability to record music, and learn how to shoot and edit video plus graphic design – all for free. The State funds will go towards paying professionals for their time as well as general operation.
