Bayside, Ca., (KIEM)- It was after hours at the Humboldt Wildlife Care Center, and a few volunteers remained at the location in Bayside to feed some of the animals in care. A call came in about a Peregrine Falcon. The raptor, bleeding and injured, had burst through a living room window.

The falcon has not only made a full recovery, but has returned to its family. Still, one survival story is never the end. For the Humboldt Wildlife Care Center, every day could bring a new critter to their door in need of urgent help.

If you have seen or encountered a wild animal in need, or have a question about a wild animal you can contact the care center at (707) 822-8839.
