Dedication held at new Point of Honor monument in Crescent City

CRESCENT CITY, Calif. (KIEM) – A monument 10 years in the making receives a special dedication.

On Tuesday, the Point of Honor Committee held a dedication at the new Point of Honor monument in Crescent City.

It has taken ten years to collect funding for the project, and it’s not quite finished yet.

The monument honors of the five branches of the pentagon, the being the US Army, Navy, Marine Corp, Airforce and Coast Guard.

The monument is expected to be completed by August.
