Four bay area men arrested for attempted armed robbery

GARBERVILLE – Four bay area men are arrested for an attempted armed robbery in Southern Humboldt. It happened at around 3 Tuesday morning on 2300 block of Sprowel Creek Road in Garberville.

According to the male victim, he pulled into his driveway and noticed two masked men run past him towards a parked white cargo van. Another masked man reportedly pointed a firearm at the victim. No property was stolen from the residence. Then several hours later, the CHP located the van parked on Moody Road.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop and found four men asleep inside. They were identified as 23 year-old Jackson Charles Lovely of Albany, 19 year-old Dahndray Bacri Roper and 26 year-old Enoch Salem Allen and 23 year old Laron James Brown all of San Francisco. They were arrested and on charges of attempted robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime. Deputies also located two firearms, one of which was loaded. The men are also suspected of committing several other robberies and burglaries in the Southern Humboldt area.
