Humboldt Bay Fire extinguishes vegetation fire in Eureka

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM) – A vegetation fire is quickly extinguished by firefighters in Eureka.

It happened near the rear of Costco off Del Norte Street.

At about 9:30PM on Wednesday it started, and grew to be about 20×20 feet in spread.

Humboldt Bay Fire firefighters responded, and quickly got the vegetation fire under control.

The exact cause of the fire is unknown.
