North Coast Assembly Member’s cannabis-derived medicine bill receives governor approval

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KIEM) – A North Coast Assembly Member is supporting the use of cannabis-based medicine in a new bill that has been signed off by Governor Jerry Brown.

Young patients with severe epilepsy will be allowed to take a newly approved drug, Epidiolex, derived from cannabidiol – or CBD. Which is available and legal in most locations now, even if the psychoactive equivalent THC also found in cannabis, isn’t, for example THC isn’t legal in the UK, but those that wish to benefit from the medical properties of CBD can do so thanks to stores and sites to Buy CBD Oil UK: https://blessedcbd.co.uk and others.

The medication is a derivation of cannabis, and the first of its kind to be approved by the food and drug administration.

Jim Wood’s, AB 710, allows physicians to prescribe the medication to those two and older.

Epidiolex is expected to become available to patients within a ninety day period.
