Supporting Young Adults: TAY Offers Self-Care Workshop

Eureka, Ca., (KIEM)- “We’re whole people right? More than school. More than work.” Supervising Mental Health Clinician Dana Taylor explains. She works with TAY (Transition-Age Youth), a division of the Department of Health and Human Services. TAY hopes to put youth in the drivers seat of their own life, empowering the next generation to be independent and successful.

In keeping with that concept, TAY is offering a free workshop Wednesday for young people. It’s all about self care. There will be snacks and attendees will receive hygiene kits and participate in self-care activities.

The event is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. Wednesday (July 11) in the TAY building at 433 M Street in Eureka. To learn more visit them online here: humboldtgov.org/542/Transition-Age-Youth-Programs
