Large amount of marijuana found at three unpermitted sites

EUREKA- The Humboldt County Sheriff’s drug enforcement unit along with other agencies discover three large marijuana operations in northern Humboldt.

They served search warrants in the Cedar Creek watershed and located over 6,600 marijuana plants.  All three were diverting water from Cedar Creek and did not have commercial cannabis permits.

A butane hash oil lab was also found at one of the parcels along with 238 pounds of processed marijuana and 25 pounds of pesticides.

Assisting with the enforcement unit were the Department of Fish and Wildlife, environmental health, the planning and building department and Cal Fire.
