Arcata, Ca, (KIEM) Where is Waldo? A game known by children all over and for the month of July, the game has come to life.

Children and guardians wandered around the Arcata Main Street Plaza looking for the story book character.

Several store owners, within the plaza participated, in the thrill seeker savenger hunt, by hiding a minature card board cut-out of Waldo in their place of business and allowed residents to come in and seek. Once waldo is spotted. Participants are rewarded with a stamp of completion.

Employee at Mia Bella Cupcakes, Aiszellyn Alvarez, said she loves to see the children smiling.

”It makes me feel super excited,” said Alvarez. “Being able to give back…it’s super exciting for all of us.”

In the end, players will turn in their Waldo passport booklets to Northtown Books and qualify to participate in the book store’s prize drawing on August 4th.
