Water line reconstruction set to interrupt traffic on Buhne St.

Eureka, Ca., (KIEM)- If you’ll be headed in to work around 8:15 a.m. Monday, July 23 you might expect some traffic delays in Eureka. The city is planning water main reconstruction on Buhne Street. Beginning in the morning, and affecting traffic until 5 p.m. daily, the road work may cause lane closures.

The water main reconstruction should be complete by Friday, July 27 (weather permitting). Crews will be in the area of Buhne Street, between S and P Streets.

The City of Eureka says, “The patience and cooperation of motorists, bicyclists and
pedestrians in the vicinity of the work is greatly appreciated.”
