Pesticide exposure after marijuana eradication

A Mendocino Sheriff is in the hospital following a marijuana raid. The 36-year-old deputy was exposed to methamidophos, which is a banned pesticide. Today we visited the Humboldt County Sheriff’s office to find out just what precautions they take before a big bust.

Quenell tells us deputies with the Humboldt County Sheriff’s office have encountered numerous banned chemicals within the different marijuana sites that they have investigated. Fortunately, no one from this department has been seriously injured.
