Eureka, Ca., (KIEM)- The party animals were out in force for Sequoia Park Zoo’s biggest fundraiser of the year. In the eye line of Flamingoes was a live auction feeding money to the local force for conservation. None other than Senator Mike Mcguire acted as auctioneer, helping to drive up the prices on donated items and build up the coffers for conservation. This year’s Zootini was a swinging good time. As for last year’s event? Tt helped fund a condor care center. The zoo will break ground on that project soon. This year’s event with help fund a new redwood canopy walk and native predator exhibit.
