Humboldt Hill home destroyed by fire

HUMBOLDT HILL- A Humboldt Hill home is destroyed by a fast moving fire.

Humboldt Bay Fire crews arrived at around 11 Tuesday night at a residence on the 6300 block of Loma Avenue. Flames were visible from Highway 101.

It took over an hour to bring under control. The Arcata Fire Department also responded to the scene.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s office provided traffic control in the area.

There were no injuries and the cause is under investigation.
