General Elections, less than 3 months away

Arcata, Ca., (KIEM) General election are less than three months away and two seats on the Arcata City Council are up for grabs.

The Arcata City Council is composed of five members elected by citizens of Arcata, to be the legislative policy-making branch of city government.

Current City Mayor, Sophia Pereira, and current Councilman, Brett Watson, will run for another term. While candidate Valerie Rose-Campbell pushes to land a seat on the council.
