Ray Christie, arrested for animal abuse, visits livestock auction

After Arcata Rancher, Ray Christie, was arrested back in March, he now faces three felony charges of animal abuse. And many were outraged when they spotted Christie at the most recent livestock auction in Ferndale. Our Kylie Walker spoke with someone close to the issue.

Animal Activist, Shannon Miranda, of Miranda’s Rescue, tells me he received multiple concerning messages before taking to Facebook on this issue, which sparked some controversy.

Christie is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges on Thursday August 30th. He remains out of custody.
