Eureka, Ca., (KIEM)- Sometimes unsolved crimes leave lasting scars on the community. That’s why United Indian Health Services doesn’t want a theft that happened in 2015 to be forgotten.

In May of that year, several baskets were stolen from a permanent display at their location. The baskets are important artifacts of cultural heritage, representing tribal values and traditions. They are still missing. Now, UIHS is asking for the community to help them as they continue their commitment to returning the baskets to their rightful place. They are offering a reward to anyone who returns one of the baskets to a UIHS clinic.
