Plant and Herbal Walk shares the secrets and surprises of the land

Arcata, CA (KIEM)- Today in northern Arcata, about twenty members of the community participated in the United Indian Health Services Plant and Herbal Walk at the Potawot Health Village. There, people were led by three herbalist in the picking, learning and sometimes sampling a variety of herbs and plants. Charlene Storr says it’s very important to know the differences in plants. Because for every plant that can feed you, there is one that can harm you.
