California first responders head east to assist with Hurricane Florence

CALIFORNIA (KIEM) – As Hurricane Florence is downgraded to a Category 2 storm, its expected impacts are still expected to be extreme, and life-threatening.

That is why California’s Office of Emergency Services is sending ‘best-of-the-best’ first responders to the East Coast, prior to the hurricane’s expected landfall on Friday.
