$300,000 project at Humboldt County Fairgrounds

FERNDALE- Now that the fair has concluded, a much needed $300,000 project is underway at the Humboldt County Fair. The month long project has begun as workers start replacing the fairs water system – updating some waterlines that were nearly 100 years old.

First district supervisor, Rex Bohn, tells us this was a long overdue project and they finally received funding from the state. Bohn says with the new water system, if there happens to be a leak in one building,  They can just shut it off and the other buildings can operate business per usual.
