BLUE LAKE, CA., (KIEM)- A pipe bomb is reported in a vehicle in Blue Lake on Thursday night. Deputies responded to blue lake casino after 8:00 p.m.

The bomb squad deployed their robot to render the object, found in the vehicle,”safe”. The device was a white PVC pipe with black powder inside. It had a time fuse in the cap.

Right now, an investigation is underway to determine how the bomb ended up in the vehicle. The person who reported the suspicious circumstances is not suspect, and the sheriff’s office would like to ask everyone to report anything they think might be a bomb to them immediately.
