EUREKA, CA., (KIEM)- The Humboldt Wildlife Care Center is in the midst of the busiest summer in the organizations history.

In addition to taking in the usual orphans, including two small featherless woodpeckers currently in care, the Wildlife Care Center’s “Bird Ally X” branch has been helping the US Fish and Wildlife Service to set up a functional wildlife hospital for birds suffering from Avian Botulism. So, Bird Ally X is asking community supporters for help, as the botulism outbreak continues with a vengeance. For more information about how you can help: click here.
