Eureka driver sustains injuries in hit-and-run crash

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – A female driver sustained minor injuries in a hit-and-run crash in Eureka on Tuesday.

Just after 7:00PM, a green Minivan struck a white Honda, causing it to flip on it’s side, at the intersection of Humboldt and F Street.

Firefighters had to break a window to free a woman inside, who was then taken to St. Joseph Hospital for treatment.

The minivan fled the scene. However, the bumper of the Minivan was abandoned at the scene, and police are trying to locate the driver.
