ARACATA, CA. (KIEM)-The Arcata & Mad River Transit Authority is in need of bus drivers.

Due to recent retirements and a slow decline in the number of applicants, the station which transports roughly a quarter of a million passengers a year is struggling to keep up with demand. This means students at Humboldt State University and other passengers are having to wait longer for a standing room only ride. That’s why the station is offering part time positions for anyone with a clean background, who can get the work done.

Those who qualify could work 4 to 5 hours a day, at about 20 hours a week while getting paid 20 dollars an hour. Anyone interested in learning more should call
