Third, Fifth Ward Eureka City Council hopefuls gather at candidate forum

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – The local election season is starting to heat up. For Eureka City Council, some prospective candidates made themselves available at a forum today at the Women’s Club.

The Humboldt Association of Realtors hosted the forum for candidates vying for two of Eureka’s five wards. The focus was on the third and fifth wards. For the Third Ward, Jeannie Breslin, Natalie Arroyo, and John Fullerton face off. In the Fifth Ward, you will see Kim Bergel, and Joe Bonino.

Another forum for mayoral and First Ward candidates is scheduled for Tuesday, again from 5:30PM-8:00PM at Eureka’s Women’s Club.
