Blue Lake City Council to hear Measure O presentation

BLUE LAKE – Tomorrow night at the Blue Lake City Council meeting, the county of Humboldt will give a presentation on Measure O.

The locally controlled funding would replace Measure Z and maintain public safety and other essential services in Humboldt County with no increase in tax rates.

According to Blue Lake’s agenda, over the last 25 years Sacramento took $386 Million in revenue from the County’s budget.

If Measure O passes on the ballot in November, it would provide Humboldt with a guaranteed source of local funding.

You can hear the presentation by attending the council meeting tomorrow night at 7 in the Skinner Store Building.
