City of Arcata to hold 2018 Surplus Property Auction

Arcata, Ca., (KIEM) The City of Arcata will be holding its 2018 Surplus Property Auction where members of the public will have the opportunity to bid on surplus City property.

2018 Surplus Property Auction items include a variety of used furniture, tools, vehicles and tires. Auction highlights include a 1995 Ford Ranger, a 2001 Dodge 3500 truck, a 1988 Massey-Ferguson 1020 tractor and an assortment of saws and custom-made wooden desks. All items will be sold where-is and as-is, and vehicles will be sold for parts only without smog certification provided.

Items up for sale will be available for public viewing Monday through Friday, beginning Monday, September 24 through Monday, October 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. and on Tuesday, October 2 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the City Corporation Yard located at 600 South G Street in Arcata.

All bids must be received by Tuesday, October 2 at 1 p.m.
