Cal Fire uses helicopter to extinguish fire west of Alderpoint

RANCHO SEQUOIA, Ca. (KIEM) – A bus driver alerts Cal Fire crews to a fire burning west of Alderpoint at 8:30AM on Wednesday.

Cal fire deployed a helicopter to fight the fire, with assistance from Alderpoint Fire on ground.

The so-called Sequoia Incident burned at least an acre over the course of several hours, but was controlled by about noon.
