Vote by mail ballots have been sent out to Humboldt County residents

Vote by mail ballots have been sent out for the upcoming November election. Residents of Humboldt County that have requested to “vote by mail” can expect to receive ballots this week.

The deadline to register is 15 days prior to the election, that’s coming up on October 22nd, for all California voters. If you miss the deadline, you can go into the elections office on 6th street in Eureka to obtain a “conditional voting ballot.”

County clerk, Kelly Sanders wants to remind residents that every vote counts.To request vote-by-mail materials, you can fill out an application online, or visit the election’s office.
