PG&E responds to wind conditions, planning to shut off power

SAN FRANCISCO, Ca.,—Pacific Gas and Electric announced today, they will be shutting off power across portions of Northern California.

They hope to reduce of the risk of wildfires in the face of forecasted extreme wind conditions. This outage will affect more than 70,000 customers, particularly in the Sierra Foothills community. Be aware if you plan to head south tonight, through parts of Lake, Napa, and Sonoma county, this may effect the power grid.
