Crews have been able to make additional progress on the largest fires burning. The largest fire is the Butler Fire burning near Forks of Salmon. That fire has been burning since July 31st. The fire is 22 percent contained and has burned 13,965 acres. An evacuation advisory is in effect for residents near Forks of Salmon.
