SHELTER COVE-- A body was found floating off the shelter cove late Friday morning. The Humboldt County Coroner’s Office is investigating.

 

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office says it is an adult male, age unknown, and that he was found floating by a sport fisherman about 50 feet from what’s referred to locally as the “red buoy.”

EUREKA-- Fire investigators are looking into what caused a car to go up in flames mid-morning Friday.
