EUREKA- Supervisors passed a ban prohibiting new medical marijuana dispensaries to open in Humboldt County four to one today. Currently there are three current dispensaries open in the county, one in Eureka, Garberville, and Arcata. The Red Wildland Fire continues to burn as fire officials work to put out the blaze.

EUREKA- Sequoia Park Zoo is the oldest zoo in California.  Now it is also the only zoo in California with Bush dogs. 

The Bush dog is an endangered species found in South America.  Mato and Perito are brothers who were brought in from Palm Beach Zoo in Florida.
