EUREKA- A male suspect gets away after robbing a Eureka gas station early Monday morning.

At around 1:30, a man walked into the Patriot gas station on the 1700 block of Broadway and demanded money. He displayed a hand gun and left on his bike with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as dark complexion and was wearing a green bandana over his face.

CRESCENT CITY - A 14-year old Crescent City youth is celebrating after her pig wins Grand Champion at the Del Norte County Fair.

Madison Douglas is an incoming freshman at Del Norte High School. This is only the second year she has shown a pig at the event.
