FORTUNA- Medical services in Fortuna are in worse condition now than last year, a representative from the McLean Foundation told the Fortuna chamber of commerce Monday.

EUREKA- Senior citizens in Eureka’s unincorporated areas may soon be paying more for their recycling collection. According to a staff report from the Humboldt County Public Works Department the senior collection rate fee for 20 gallon recycling cans is suggested to go up by 20 percent. The current fee for seniors is $10 per month.
