MCKINLEYVILLE - The officers involved in the shootout last week in McKinleyville in which one man was killed after a 17 hour stand off, have been identified.
The deputies who fired at the suspect, David Alan Fulton, were Humboldt County Deputy Sheriff James Mowrey, along with four deputies from the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office, as well as a Ukiah police officer.

FORTUNA - The Fortuna Street Clean Team will hold their August clean-up Saturday from 10 am to noon.
