MCKINLEYVILLE- A teen was taken to juvenile hall for vandalism and attempted burglary in McKinleyville.

At 12:45 a.m Friday, the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office responded to the 2300 block of Cobblestone Road. They located a 14-year-old boy riding a bike, who had broken a window on a vehicle. The juvenile attempted to flee but was eventually caught. He was taken to Juvenile Hall for...

GARBERVILLE-Humboldt Superior Court announced that their Garberville location is temporarily closed.

Any court dates that are scheduled at the building on Conger Street will be moved to the Eureka courthouse located at 825 Fifth Street.

They do not have a set date of reopening. Calls for more information regarding this incident were not returned.

EUREKA-We reported that the Samoa Drag Strip had $10,000 worth of equipment stolen from their storage.

Now, we're finding out that the Redwood Sports Car Club was also burglarized. They had their shed next to the Samoa Drag Strip storage. President Tina Johnson said burglars broke in through a tight window on the side and took at least $800 worth of equipment.
