FORT BRAGG- Mendocino College will offer classes at College of the Redwood's Fort Bragg site in the Fall. Both colleges signed an agreement on the plan on Thursday.

ARCATA-Arson has been determined as the cause of the Father's Day fire that spread throughout a condemned mobile home and moved next door.

Roy Leon Moran, 40, of Arcata has been arrested for arson. Arcata Police Det. Ortega said an investigation by the department and Arcata Fire Protection District lead them to arrest Moran who was the only person in the house.

MCKINLEYVILLE- After two McKinleyville Union School District Board members stepped down the district has appointed two new members.

Suzie McCray and Theresa Grosjean were appointed by the rest of the board at the meeting on Wednesday. Three applied for the position and one withdrew.

SOUTHERN HUMBOLDT- A motorcycle crash has left a man with major injuries tonight in Southern Humboldt. The accident occurred on Shelter Cove Road near Huckleberry Hill Lane around 12:30 this afternoon. A 60-year-old man riding a motorcycle collided with a car. The motorcyclist reportedly sustained major leg trauma and was taken by helicopter to Mercy Medical Center in Redding.

REDWAY- Southern Humboldt residents filled the gymnasium of Redway Elementary School for a town hall meeting on Thursday.

CALIFORNIA- At the Eureka City School's Board of Trustees meeting on Thursday night, the budget was passed, along with the second phase of the Local Control Funding Formula, which Governor Brown put in the state budget last year.  The Local Control Funding Formula is required to be fully implemented in all California schools by July 1st.
