EEL RIVER VALLEY- An equipment malfunction at the Eel River substation left 9,400 PG&E customers without power. The outage was reported just after 7 p.m. Monday night in the Eel River Valley area. Customers in Ferndale, Fortuna, and Loleta were most affected by the outage.

PG&E officials tell us all power was restored by 3 a.m. Tuesday.
