RIO DELL - A marijuana grow is discovered after fire destroys a garage near Rio Dell.

Just before 11 Wednesday night, Rio Dell along with the Fortuna, Loleta and Ferndale fire departments responded to a blaze on Pepper Tree Lane off of Blue Slide Road. When crews arrived, flames were consuming a garage. Two dogs caged nearby were saved along with a house located twenty feet away.
